The President skipped a courtesy call of the Integrity Initiative Officers in Malacanang that day, with Budget Secretary Florencio Abad representing him.

But deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said she did not ask what had ailed President Aquino.

“We were just informed that he was not feeling well. I didn’t ask the President for specifics anymore,” Valte said in a text message.

Despite being under the weather, the 51-year-old Chief Executive “had his work sent to Bahay Pangarap,” according to Valte.

Aquino apparently is well enough to meet with his officials this Thursday as per his schedule released by the Palace.

He is also scheduled to attend a daily briefing, meet with the staff and with Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. after.

Reporters had not seen Aquino this week since his meetings were all inside the Palace.
