Woman collared in Suba drug bust

A 37-YEAR-old woman was arrested by police in a drug buy-bust operation in barangay Suba, Cebu City, last Tuesday night.

Seized from Olivia Abing were two medium packs of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P50,000.

Police said the woman and her husband Junard were the subject of the operation but the man was able to elude arrest.

The transaction happened at the couple’s house on Magsaysay Street.

Police said a policeman who acted as poseur-buyer bought a pack of suspected from the couple.

Police said Junard noticed the presence of the policemen and ran toward the second floor of their three-story house.
