MANILA, Philippines – Reelected Senator Risa Hontiveros on Monday took her oath of office before Vice President Leni Robredo at the Quezon City Reception House in New Manila, Quezon City.
Hontiveros was accompanied by her daughters Issa, Ianna Baraquel and Sinta Baraquel.

“Una sa lahat, maraming, maraming salamat sa inyo. It is with great privilege and deepest gratitude that I pledge, once more, to serve the interests and welfare of the Filipino people,” said Hontiveros, who ranked 11th in the recent elections.
