LEGAZPI CITY — A local businessman was shot dead in Sorsogon City, Sorsogon on Tuesday by two still unidentified men.

Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said Orlando Gacias, 58, was shot by unknown assailants in Barangay Cabid-an at around 5:45 p.m.

Calubaquib said a witness heard three successive gunshots and later saw the victim lying on the ground.
Police recovered spent shells for caliber .45 and 9mm guns.

The police are conducting further investigation to identify the suspects and establish the motive behind the killing.
