Subic logs 75 dengue cases since May

SUBIC, Zambales—At least 75 cases of dengue fever have been recorded in this town since May, according to the municipal health office.
Most of the new dengue cases were from Barangay Cawag.
The town recorded 100 cases last year.
Dengue is a viral infection transmitted to humans through the bite of an infected Aedes aegypti mosquito.
The local government has been conducting fogging to destroy the breeding sites of mosquitoes in villages to prevent an outbreak of the disease. INQ
