LUCENA CITY — A heated argument between two drunks left one of them dead in a case of stabbing in Padre Garcia town, Batangas province on Wednesday (June 15), police said on Thursday (June 16).
Batangas police said in a report that Rodrigo Estanio, 53, was having a drinking session with his uncle, Manny Estanio, 71, in Barangay Poblacion around 9:30 p.m.
An altercation led Manny to stab Rodrigo in the neck with a kitchen knife. Police couldn’t provide details about the altercation.
Rodrigo was rushed to the Dr. R. Rosales Memorial Hospital where he died while being treated. Manny fled but was captured later, police said.
