MANILA, Philippines — With just a few days before Vice President-elect Sara Duterte gets sworn into office, Davao-based designer Silverio Anglacer on Thursday released an outline of her Filipiniana gown for the ceremony.

In a Facebook post, Anglacer posted a photo of the outline illustration of Duterte’s gown for her inauguration, which is set on June 19.

“My outline of Philippine Vice President-elect Sara Duterte’s oathtaking gown on June 19,” he wrote.

As seen in the sketch, the gown will have a loose mermaid bodice at the bottom with a traditional Filipiniana top of camisa or bell-shaped sleeves.

Anglacer marked the left side of the outline with green, raising speculations that Duterte-Carpio will wear her campaign color.

Anglacer has designed many of Duterte’s gowns, including the blue Filipiniana that she wore when her father, President Rodrigo Duterte, took his oath of office in 2016.

He also created many of the Davao City mayor’s formal clothing during the 2022 campaign.

Duterte will hold her inauguration in her hometown Davao City where she served as mayor before being elected to the second-highest post in the country.

She will be inaugurated as the country’s 15th Vice President.
