THE Los Demonyous stopped the three-game win streak of league-leader Bhutakalz, 73-69 last Saturday in the 8th Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP)-2012 basketball tournament at the Capitol Parish gym.
The Bhutakalz led, 20-17 in the first period but Los Demonyous responded with a 22-17 run in the 2nd for a, 39-37 lead at the half then extended its lead to six with a, 15-11 rally in the 3rd for a, 54-48 advantage heading to the fourth.
Both teams now sport identical 3-1 win-loss records.
In the other game, the Super Idolz crushed Jodin, 64-34 to improve to 2-1.
Earlier, Pecandela Law Firm routed the Dissenters, 75-49, for its 2nd win in three games (2-1), while the latter fell to 1-3.
Meanwhile, Pañeros finally barged into the win column (1-2) after routing the Eagles (2-2).
