STA. MARIA, Bulacan — A 42-year-old man here was killed by a responding police officer after the suspect ran amok and attacked some villagers.
Col. Charlie Cabradilla, Bulacan police director, said Ricardo Agno, a resident of Barangay Sto. Tomas in this town, was armed with a bolo and tried to hit at least two of his neighbors, who managed to run away.
One of the responding police officers shot the suspect after the latter tried to attack him.
Agno was wounded and taken to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Cabradilla said the suspect had been suffering from a mental disorder. INQ
