MANILA, Philippines — Hero (Help, Educate, and Rear Orphans) Foundation Inc., celebrates Independence Day by continuing to honor members of the Armed Forces and the Philippines and doing its best to help their families, most especially the military orphans.

Founded in 1988, Hero Foundation has been working with everyday heroes — individuals, corporations, and private organizations — to help these children with their tuition and other expenses related to education, including transportation, dormitory fees, and school supplies.

The foundation is grateful that more and more donors have embraced its cause.
