MANILA, Philippines — Hero (Help, Educate, and Rear Orphans) Foundation Inc., celebrates Independence Day by continuing to honor members of the Armed Forces and the Philippines and doing its best to help their families, most especially the military orphans.

Founded in 1988, Hero Foundation has been working with everyday heroes — individuals, corporations, and private organizations — to help these children with their tuition and other expenses related to education, including transportation, dormitory fees, and school supplies.

The foundation is grateful that more and more donors have embraced its cause.

On Independence Day, in partnership with Ayala Malls, the foundation is pleased to offer the following treats to all active or retired AFP soldiers and their dependents:

• Twenty-five-percent discount on movie tickets at all Ayala Cinemas nationwide

• Pay 250 and get a P350 load in all Timezone branches at Ayala Malls nationwide

• Free access to Ayala Mall lounge (only at Centrio, Abreeza, and The District Imus)

These offerings are available on June 12 only.

To avail themselves of these perks, they must present a valid AFP ID (active, retired or dependent) at the cashier. Only the cardholder whose photo appears on the valid AFP ID may be accepted.
