MANILA, Philippines — The government’s pandemic task force has allowed all establishments in areas under Alert Level 1 to operate at 100% capacity as long as proof of full vaccination is presented, especially in indoor establishments or mass gatherings, Malacañang said Tuesday.
Acting presidential spokesman Martin Andanar said this was decided upon by the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) last Saturday, June 4.
“The IATF recognizes the need to further identify establishments and/or activities which are allowed to operate or be undertaken in Alet Level 1,” he said in a Palace briefing.
“Pinayagan ng IATF ang full 100% capacity sa ilalim ng Alert Level 1 ngunit kailangan magpakita ng katibayan ng full vaccination bago makasama sa malawakang pagttipin tipon o papasukin sa indoor establishments,” Andanar added.
(The IATF allowed 100% full capacity operations under Alert Level 1 but they have to present full vaccination proof before joining mass gatherings or entering indoor establishments.)
Under previous guidelines, there are no restrictions in terms of indoor and outdoor capacities in areas under Alert Level 1.
Everyone can undertake intrazonal and interzonal travel without regard to age and even comorbidities.
All establishments, persons, or activities are likewise allowed to operate, work, or be undertaken at total on-site or venue seating capacity, provided these are consistent with minimum public health standards.
