Hot, humid Tuesday after LPA dissipates

MANILA, Philippines — After the low pressure area (LPA) off Romblon completely dissipated, hot and humid weather will now prevail across the archipelago on Tuesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

“Kasalukuyan, nakakaranas po tayo ng maganda at maaliwalas na panahon, hindi lamang dito sa Metro Manila kundi sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng ating bansa. ‘Yong low pressure area na ating binabantayan kahapon ay tuluyan na pong nalusaw,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said in an early morning forecast.

(Right now, we’re experiencing good and clear weather conditions, not just in Metro Manila but also in the rest of the country. The low pressure area we were monitoring yesterday has now dissolved.)

He also noted that ridge of high pressure area, extending over the eastern section of Luzon, likewise calms the weather in the country.

However, isolated rain showers and thunderstorms may still be experienced from afternoon to evening, Aurelio warned.

The state weather bureau also assured that, as of its latest analysis, no other LPAs are being monitored within or outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
