Talk on anger management
THE Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center will host a talk on Anger Management by Cebuano author and motivational speaker June Luna.
The event is free of charge and will be held on March 16 at 6 p.m. at the center in Forest Hills, Banawa, Cebu City.
During the one-hour conversation, Luna will share how he conquers anger. He will also give tips and advice to those who wish to go into a journey on conquering their anger.

MCWD no down promo
STARTING March 1, the Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD) is offering a No Down Payment Promo until the end of the month to all new water service connection applicants.
The total processing fee for water connection is P4,950. Normally, MCWD collects P1,500 as down payment and the balance will be paid within one year with an interest of 12.5 percent or 1.04 percent per month.
But within the promo period, there will be no down payment to be collected from the applicant and MCWD will install the water connection as long as the other requirements are complied with.
The total processing fee will be paid in one year with the same interest rate and will be included in the monthly bill.
Ryan Belaniso of the Service Connection and Installation Division, however, said that the promo is not applicable to those who apply for a transfer of meter or reopening of a water connection.
All water service applicants must attend the orientation seminar every Wednesday and Saturday at 8 a.m. to noon.
VECO credit card payment
THE Visayan Electric Company (Veco) now accepts credit card payments. Once a Citibank credit card holder enrols his Veco account at www.citibank.com.ph, his monthly Veco bill will be automatically paid by Citibank.
