D-league comes off the wraps
THE NLEX Road Warriors’ road towards a rare “three-peat” begins today when they take on the Big Chill in a rematch of last year’s semifinals in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup, which unwraps at the Arena in San Juan City.
The Road Warriors encountered some tough resistance against the Superchargers last year as their semifinal encounter went the distance before the Road Warriors came away victorious.
Though most pundits consider NLEX to still be the team-to-beat, head coach Boyet Fernandez remains cautious.
“Teams have fortified their lineups and in my assessment, all teams are capable of going all the way,” Fernandez said in a press statement.
