MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday announced that 585 out of 1,032 aspirants passed the Chemical Engineering Board Exam.
The examination was given by the Board of Chemical Engineering in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Legazpi, on May 17-19.
University of San Carlos graduate Richmond Kaya Pepito topped the list of passers with a score of 86.90 percent.
At second place was Shania Angel Meca Montesa of the Technological Institute of the Philippines-Manila with a score of 86.60 percent, while Angelica Floresca Jao from University of the Philippines-Diliman is at third place with a score 86.20 percent.

Meanwhile, in terms of top performing schools, University of the Philippines-Diliman and the University of San Carlos topped the list with a 100 percent passing rate. UP Los Baños followed with a passing rate of 95.45 percent, and then De La Salle University-Manila with 88.89 percent.
