Suspected drug pusher yields P40k shabu in Laguna bust
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested a suspected drug pusher on Friday night (May 20) and seized more than P40,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Calamba City in Laguna province.
The Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) in a report, said anti-narcotics agents collared Lyssa Medalla after she allegedly sold P500 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay (village) Halang around 10:59 p.m.
The suspect yielded six grams of crystal meth in six plastic sachets worth P40,800 in the street market.
The police are conducting an investigation to determine the source of the illegal drugs being distributed by the suspect.
The suspect was detained and is facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
