Over P1.3M ‘shabu’ seized, 2 drug suspects nabbed in Naga City

LEGAZPI CITY—Anti-narcotics operatives arrested two suspects and seized more than P1.3 million worth of shabu, or crystal meth, in separate buy-bust operations in Naga City, Camarines Sur early on Saturday (May 21).

MSgt. Tobias Bongon, Naga police spokesperson, said Jessrael Ignacio, 41, was arrested at Barangay Concepcion Pequeña around 1 a.m. after he sold a packet of meth worth P65,000 to an undercover agent. Authorities recovered a total of 200 grams of meth worth P1,360,000 from Ignacio.

At Barangay Peñafrancia, Dominic Arcillana, 23, was arrested in a separate operation around 3:15 a.m. Arcillana, who was on the drug watch list in the Bicol Region, sold a packet of meth worth at least P1,000. Authorities found another three packets of meth during a body search of Arcilla.
