BACOLOD CITY — Presumptive president Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his wife, Liza Araneta-Marcos, have thanked Negrenses for their support in the last May 9 elections.
The couple, who are currently in Australia for a short vacation, addressed their supporters in Barangay Bubog, Talisay City, Negros Occidental, on Wednesday, May 18.
The party was hosted by Leo Rey Yanson, owners of the biggest bus firm in the country, said Negros Occidental Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer.
”We will never forget all of your help for the rest of our lives,” Marcos said.
Marcos is leading the presidential race by a wide margin in the national count.
