MANILA, Philippines — There was no movement in rankings in the latest partial and official count for the senatorial race, with actor Robin Padilla maintaining his lead.
Based on the report released by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Tuesday morning, Padilla continues to lead the senatorial race with 26,494,737 votes.
Padilla is followed by Antique Rep. Loren Legarda with 24,183,946 votes and broadcaster Raffy Tulfo with 23,345,261 votes.
The following senatorial candidates also made the “Magic 12”:
- Sherwin Gatchalian – 20,547,045 votes
- Francis Escudero – 20,240,923 votes
- Mark Villar – 19,402,685 votes
- Alan Peter Cayetano – 19,262,353 votes
- Juan Miguel Zubiri – 18,663,253 votes
- Joel Villanueva – 18,439,806 votes
- JV Ejercito – 15,803,416 votes
- Risa Hontiveros – 15,385,566 votes
- Jinggoy Estrada – 15,071,213 votes
Just outside the Magic 12 are former Vice President Jojo Binay (13,244,440 votes), former Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista (13,049,207 votes), and former defense secretary Gibo Teodoro (12,752,915 votes).

The Comelec, which sits as the National Board of Canvassers, said it will proclaim winning senatorial candidates on Wednesday afternoon, May 18.
