MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––The Tarlac provincial police office turned over on Monday 112 bags of blood to the Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital in Pampanga province.

The donation was made after the blood-letting activity dubbed “Dugo ko, Buhay mo” at Camp Francisco Macabulos in Tarlac City.

Provincial police director Col. Erwin Sanque said the activity emphasized the importance of donating blood.

“In addition, it offers a meaningful impact to every policeman and private individual who, at one point, may require medical assistance, including the need for blood transfusion to save lives,” he added.

In Concepcion town, police conducted foot and mobile patrols to remind people not wearing face masks that the COVID-19 pandemic was not yet over.

The townsfolk were told that Tarlac and the rest of Central Luzon remained under Alert Level 1, which mandates wearing face masks in public places.

The Concepcion police said the violators were warned not to ignore the health protocols and gave face masks.
