MANILA, Philippines — Oil companies slashed prices of fuel products on Tuesday, a week after imposing a hefty price hike.
The price of gasoline decreased by 40 centavos per liter while that of diesel declined by P3.10 per liter and kerosene by P2.10 per liter.
As of May 10, the net cumulative net increase in domestic fuel prices has hit P22 per liter for gasoline, P34.50 per liter for diesel, and P29.75 per liter for kerosene, according to the Department of Energy’s weekly monitoring.
In Metro Manila, petroleum products are sold for as low as about P68 per liter to as high as around P89 per liter.
