Pushing for the development of goat production from a “sunrise” into a full-blown industry, Federation of Goat and Sheep Producers Associations of the Philippines Inc. (FGASPAPI) convenes its fifth National Goat and Sheep Congress and Trade Fair on March 22-24 with the theme “Kambing at Tupa—Negosyo ng Pinoy.”

This year’s conference will be hosted by Goat and Sheep Producers Association of Tarlac. Venue is the Hotel Stotsenberg, Clark Freeport, Pampanga.

FGASPAPI president Ben Rara said among the topics to be discussed in the conference are a view of the industry and its growth potentials, breeding, best practices in the industry and marketing. There will also be cooking demonstrations to promote goat and sheep cuisine, exhibit and sale of island-born and imported goats and sheep and sale and display of goat and sheep products.
