It is lower than the daily average case count of 254 reported in December, before the country experienced the Omicron variant -triggered case surge.
As of Saturday, the country has logged a total of 3,687,748 COVID-19 cases, including 3,122 active infections, 3,624,171 recoveries and 60,455 deaths, according to DOH.
