CITY OF CALAPAN––Two most wanted persons (MWP) in Romblon province were arrested on Friday (May 13), according to a report from the Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan (Mimaropa) police regional office.
Col. Raynold Rosero, provincial police director, said Salvador Salivio, 41, top six MWP of San Jose town, was arrested at 9:30 a.m. in Barangay Combot based on a Feb. 2, 2021 warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 82 in Odiongan for frustrated murder with a bail of P200,000.
Sherwin Andres, 44, ranked the fourth MWP of Looc town, was arrested at 9:55 a.m. in Barangay Camandag based on a warrant dated Nov. 15, 2018, issued by the same court for rape with no bail recommended.
Since January this year, police Mimaropa said they had 227 MWP arrests compared to 166 MWP arrests in the same period last year. INQ
