LUCENA CITY – A woman riding a motorcycle was killed after being hit by a government-owned ambulance along the bypass road in Sariaya, Quezon on Thursday (May 12) night.
The Sariaya police reported Friday that Mary Ann Tanyang, 32, was driving her motorcycle when she was hit by the ambulance driven by Romualdo Alcala, 53, on a section of the bypass road in Barangay Tumbaga 1 around 7:10 p.m.
Tanyang died while being taken to the nearest hospital. The report did not say if she was wearing a crash helmet.
