MANILA, Philippines — The Mayor Arthur Robes and Rep. Florida “Rida” Robes won their bids for reelection in their current posts in San Jose del Monte City in Bulacan.
Husband and wife both won by a landslide.
Mayor Robes garnered 150,394 votes, more than thrice that of his closest rival Earl Tan, who only got 45,000 votes.
Representative Robes, on the other hand, garnered 136,680 votes, while her closest rival, Reynaldo San Pedro, received 75,960 votes.
The Commission on Elections proclaimed them on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Efren Barolome won as the city’s vice mayor with 116,570 votes, beating Irene Del Rosario who garnered 77,596 votes.
