MASBATE CITY––Masbate Gov. Antonio Kho won his reelection bid for his third and last term in the May 9 elections.
Kho won against rival Masbate’s first district Rep. Narciso Bravo Jr.
Kho’s wife, Masbate second district Rep. Dr. Elisa Kho, also secured the vice gubernatorial seat against rival lawyer Jesi Howard Lanete, son of former Masbate governor Rizalina Lanete.
Meanwhile, Kho’s son, Richard, who entered politics for the first time, snatched the first district representative post from the stronghold of the once ruling family in the district by beating former Masbate first district Rep. Marvi Bravo, wife of Representative Bravo.
Vice Gov. Ara Kho, daughter of Kho, was proclaimed second district representative after winning against rival Dr. Scott Davies Lanete. Lanete is the brother of Jesi Howard.
For the third district, another son of Kho, Wilton, was re-elected after defeating rival Rizalina Lanete.
