CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga—The provincial board of canvassers on Tuesday proclaimed Governor-elect Dennis Pineda after his successful reelection bid.
Pineda, who will serve for a second term, garnered more than 200,000 votes against his lone rival, Danilo Baylon.
The reelected governor obtained 668,757 votes.
Pineda’s mother, Vice Gov. Lilia Pineda, who sought reelection unopposed, was also proclaimed for a second term.
