LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines—Presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo will attend a solidarity and thanksgiving Mass today, May 10, at 5:30 p.m. in Naga City to thank her supporters, she said in a statement.
The Mass will be said at the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral and celebrated by Archbishop Rolando Octavus Tria Tirona.
Robredo also said that she will thank Metro Manila volunteers in a gathering on May 13.
“Again, I am grateful for the diligence, the creativity, and the heart that our ranks brought to the campaign. Because of you, we have seen a glimpse of what kind of society we can attain,” Robredo said in her statement.
She also said that their camp is aware of the reactions from her supporters when unofficial counts showed her trailing behind frontrunner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
“I know you are still processing yesterday’s events. I am aware of the questions that remain attached to the situation,” she said.
She added that her camp is already talking with experts to study reports and allegations circulating on social media, and that results of the study will be shared immediately. /ra
