All systems go for PPCRV in Albay

LEGAZPI CITY  – It’s all systems go for the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) and its volunteers in Albay for Monday’s national and local elections.

Fr. Eric Martillano, PPCRV Albay chairperson, said they have fielded 4,000 volunteers  in the three cities and 15 towns of Albay.

The volunteers have also set up a Voter’s Assistance Desk in all polling places. 

Aside from the volunteers, the council has organized fa ive-man Quick Response Teams in all 45 parishes across the province to monitor, validate and respond to any election concerns.

According to Commission on Elections (Comelec), Albay has 1,494 clustered election precincts which will accommodate 890,148 registered voters in 595 voting centers.
