CEBUANO GOLFER Gio Gandionco added another title to his collection  after he captured the class A boy’s crown in the 2nd Montecillo Junior Golf Championships which ended last Friday at the Palmer course of the Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmarinas, Cavite.

Gandionco, an anchor for the Cebu Country Club which won the prestigious Championship division in the Philippine Airlines Interclub Golf Tournament several weeks ago in Davao City, fired in a 73 during the final round and finished with a total of 288, two shots ahead of Taiwan’s Wang Wei-Hsiang, who ended up with a final round 74 and a total of 290.

The tandem of Gandionco and Raymart Tolentino, though, fell short of their campaign to nab the team crown after they were nipped by Thais Chanachok Dejpiratanamongkol and Sarit Suwannarat.
