MANILA, Philippines — Hot and humid weather is forecast during the national and local elections on Monday in Luzon but chances of rain still remain especially in the afternoon and evening, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

This is still due to the prevailing easterlies, said Pagasa weather specialist Daniel James Villamil in a weather report on Sunday late afternoon.
