VP bet David endorses Robredo, Sotto anew

MANILA, Philippines — Vice presidential candidate Rizalito David endorsed anew of Vice President Leni Robredo and Sen. Vicente ‘Tito’ Sotto III for president and vice presidential, respectively.
David, who made endorsement anew during the Comelec PiliPinas forum on Friday, said Robredo and Sotto have the biggest chance of defeating the tandem of Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte – Carpio.
“Tahasan ko na pong ini-endorso, with respect to my ka-tandem na si Dr. Jose Montemayor Jr., na si Leni Robredo po ang ating tulungan upang baka sakali naman ay talunin niya si Bongbong Marcos,” David said during the interview.
(I am endorsing, with respect to my runnning mate, Dr. Jose Montemayor Jr, the candidacy of Leni Robredo. We should help her to give her a fighting chance to defeat Bongbong Marcos.)
“Dahil sa akin ang pagtingin ko kay Bongbong Marcos at Sara Duterte, pag uulit lang noong nangyayari ng nakaraan at to me, iyan ay clear and present danger to this country. So derecho ko na pong ineendorso, tulungan po natin si Leni Robredo, at si Senator Sotto sa pagka-ikalawang pangulo,” David added.
(Because, to me, Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte is a repeat of the past. That is a clear and present danger to this country. Hence, I am endorsing Leni Robredo, and Senator Sotto, who is running for vice president.)
David previously said he is willing to give up his political ambition and form a “grand coalition” with the others who are running for vice president in order to defeat Marcos Jr. and Duterte-Carpio.
