LEGAZPI CITY––At least 77,000 supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo trooped to Sawangan Park in this city Friday during her grand rally, as she assured them that the Bicol region would become progressive if she wins the presidency.
“This is how important it is to have a Bicolano president who will solve the problems we are facing. I’m going to prioritize the long and very much awaited PNR project, address the energy crisis, improve internet and telcos connectivity in areas in Bicol, which is very beneficial nowadays, improve ports in Albay, and focus on giving assistance to the agri sector,” Robredo stressed.
She said winning the race is very possible as she is witnessing all-out support from Filipinos.
“I am very thankful for the vote you gave me in 2016, and I am expecting more votes this time. Please continue doing the house-to-house campaign to combat fake news surfacing in social media,” she said.
Robredo said this was the time to have a Bicolano president and that she would let the public feel that the government would always be close to the people.
She also thanked all the politicians, even rivals, for being united in support of her presidency.
