Fire hits part of Letran college
A 13-minute fire hit a room of the Colegio de San Juan de Letran along Muralla Street in Intramuros, Manila, before midnight on Friday.
Arson investigators are looking at a short-circuited bundy clock as the cause of the blaze.
SFO2 John Joseph Jalique, investigator of the Manila Fire District (MFD) said the fire, started at around 11:50 p.m. on Friday, inside the canteen simulation room at the second floor of Letran.
It destroyed the bundy clock and a juice dispenser before responding firemen put out the fire at around 12:03 a.m., Saturday.
