Oil firms to roll back pump prices

MANILA, Philippines — After two weeks of pump price hikes, oil firms will roll back the costs of their petroleum products, effective May 3.

Based on advisories issued Monday, gasoline prices will be trimmed by P0.65 per liter while diesel and kerosene costs will be slashed by P1.15 per liter.

Shell, Petro Gazz, SeaOil, Metro Oil, and PTT will implement the price movement on Tuesday, 6 a.m.

Caltex and Cleanfuel, meanwhile, will adjust their costs at 12:01 a.m. and 8:01 a.m., respectively.
