Pagasa: Hot and humid in Luzon, Visayas; rain expected in eastern Mindanao
MANILA, Philippines — Hot and humid Sunday weather will prevail nationwide, except in the Caraga, Davao and Soccsksargen regions in Mindanao, which will experience scattered rain, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported Sunday.
(The Caraga, Davao and Soccsksargen regions in eastern Mindanao can expect cloudy skies due to theintertropical convergence zone and low pressure area.)
(Scattered light to moderate and at times heavy rain is expected. Flooding and landslides are possible.)
Meantime, the LPA earlier spotted east of Mindanao has since dissipated.
The current LPA being monitored, which has a low chance of becoming a tropical cyclone, was spotted at 315 kilometers southeast of Davao City at 3 a.m.
Pagasa has not raised a gale warning over any of the country’s seaboards.
