19 teams vie in Inter-Merchant hoop March 18
A TOTAL of 19 teams will vie in the second season of the Inter-Merchant Hoop-2012, First Conference basketball tournament which starts on March 18 from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Pope John gym in Mabolo, Cebu City.
The 19 teams are divided into the North and South divisions with each division composed of two brackets. Teams will play in a single-round robin format.
The North Division teams are BDO, Thirsty Juice, Diamond Suites, Marco Polo, Knights, Waterfront Hotel, BNK Team, RMA Cargo Logistics and the Legend while the South Division is composed of Laguna Garden, Max Restaurant, Casa Verde, Lategola, MCRI, CSAI, Fitness First, City Sports, Parklane Hotel and Blessel Art Sign.
They play every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. /Correspondent Dale Rosal
