2 drug suspects on cops’ watchlist fall in Quezon busts
LUCENA CITY – Two alleged notorious drug pushers on the police watchlist were arrested in Quezon province on Friday night (April 29) and yielded over P194,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth), report said Saturday.
Police Colonel Joel Villanueva, Quezon police chief, in a report said policemen armed with a search warrant swooped down on the house of Fredielito Claveria, 49, in Guinayangan town at 8:53 p.m.
Authorities seized 25.12 grams of shabu in 21 plastic sachets with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P170,816 and drug-sniffing paraphernalia.
Meanwhile, in Tiaong town, anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Ziolo Boy Cabrera, 40, in a buy-bust operation at around 10:45 p.m.
Confiscated from the suspect were five sachets of shabu worth P23,668 in the street market.
The police tagged the two suspects as SLI (street-level individuals) on the drug watchlist.
