TALISAY City will host the 1st Talisay Triathlon Race on March 25 starting at the new Talisay City Fish Port.
The swim part of the competition will be done at the area fronting the fish port while the bike and run events will be held at a portion of the Cebu South Coastal Road lane going to Cebu City.
The event, held in line with the celbration of the american landing in Talisay City, will have two distances.
The adults will go through the 1,000-meter swim, 30-kilometer bike and 7.5-K run while the kids will have a 300-m swim, 8-K bike and 3-K run.
The adults will have 19 years old and below, 20-29, 30-39 and 40-49 categories. The kids will have 10 under, 11-12 and 13-14 categories. A mix relay will also be held and will fall under the adult category.
Assembly time will be 5 a.m. with the race to kick off at 6 a.m. Registration fee is pegged at P1,000 inclusive of a finisher’s medal, finisher’s t-shirt and recovery meal.
