More than 137K jobs up for grabs on Labor Day

MANILA, Philippines — A massive job fair will mark the 120th observance of Labor Day in the country on Sunday.
Data provided by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Friday said 137,287 domestic and overseas jobs are awaiting job seekers in 26 job fair sites all over the country.
The job fairs will be joined by 900 employers nationwide, bringing 87,175 local jobs and 47,142 overseas jobs, according to DOLE.
Most of the jobs belong to the manufacturing, business process outsourcing, and retail/sales industries.
The main job fair site on May 1 is at the Kingsborough International Convention Center in San Fernando City, Pampanga, where over 10,000 jobs will be offered by 90 employers, according to DOLE.
