Bill on fixed health workers’ benefits during public health crisis approved in House

MANILA, Philippines — Camarines Norte 2nd District Rep. Marisol “Toots” Panotes has passed away, her daughter announced Friday.

Panotes’ daughter, Rosemarie, announced the passing of her mother in a Facebook post.

“It is with deep sorrow to announce the passing of my mother Congw. Marisol “Toots” Panotes—a loving mother, a loving wife, a loving grandma and a good public servant,” Rosemarie said.

“Your prayers will be much appreciated in this most difficult time,” she added.

No other details on her death are available as of posting time.

Panotes served as the vice chairperson of the House of Representatives committee on disaster resilience and  committee on population and family relations.
