3,001 cops in Bicol cast votes under absentee voting

LEGAZPI CITY––A total of 3,001 police personnel from Bicol police’s regional office here have cast their votes at the conduct of the local absentee voting.
The cops voted on April 27 and 28, the first and second days of the three-day activity held inside Camp General Simeon Ola, at the Regional Headquarters Unit, Police Provincial Office, and City Police Office, that the Commission on Elections supervised, Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson said.
Brigadier General Mario Reyes, Bicol police chief, said the early casting of votes of their personnel is part of the preparations for the deployment of police operatives in different polling precincts in the region to ensure the orderly and safe conduct of the May polls.
