Marijuana worth P60K seized in Sorsogon buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY––A 66-year-old alleged drug personality was arrested in a buy-bust operation Wednesday, April 27, in Sorsogon City in Sorsogon province.
Lt. Col. Virgil Bibat, Sorsogon City police chief, said in a report that Arnel Alano sold at 5:50 p.m. a sachet of marijuana worth P500 to an undercover agent in Barangay Bibincahan.

Bibat said the authorities recovered a plastic bag with dried marijuana leaves, 28 plants, and a sachet with two dried roots weighing 500 grams worth P60,600.
