MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has unveiled the new design of the driver’s license.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the DOTr revealed the new design with a pearlized white theme, unlike the old bluish motif.

The DOTr did not mention when the new drivers license will become available to the public.
The agency however, assured that the security features of the drivers licenses will remain.
Aside from the changes of design, the DOTr recently extended the validity of drivers license for drivers with no traffic violations for 10 years.
Motorists with traffic violations will only get licenses with five-year validity upon renewal.
