PH logs 213 new COVID-19 cases on Monday – DOH

An additional 213 new coronavirus infections were added to the country’s total COVID-19 case load on Monday, according to the Department of Health’s (DOH) COVID-19 tracker.

MANILA, Philippines — An additional 213 new coronavirus infections were added to the country’s total COVID-19 case load on Monday, according to the Department of Health’s (DOH) COVID-19 tracker.

The tracker also showed that active COVID-19 infections are now down to 12,639, lower than Sunday’s record of 13,660.

Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed infections now sits at 3,684,712 nationwide, including 3,611,879 recoveries and 60,194 deaths.

Only 13,734 individuals, however, were tested on April 24, as shown in the tracker.

These new infections are also slightly higher than the average number of cases released the previous week, April 18 to 24, at 209 per day in a total of 1,465 infections.
