MANILA, Philippines — The prevailing easterlies may cause overcast skies and rain shower in Eastern Visayas on Tuesday, while generally fair weather is forecast over the rest of the country, said the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical and Astronomical Services (Pagasa).
“Dahil pa rin sa easterlies ang Eastern Visayas ay mananatiling maulap po bukas at may mga kalat kalat po na pagulan pagkidlat at pagkulog,” said Pagasa weather specialist Ana Clauren in a weather report on Monday afternoon.
(Due to the easterlies, Eastern Visayas will remain cloudy tomorrow and there will be scattered rain showers, lightning and thunder.)
The entire Luzon and Mindanao, meanwhile, including the rest of Visayas, will experience generally fair weather with chances of rain due to thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
“Sa kasalukuyan naman ay wala tayong namomonitor na anumang sama ng panahon o low pressure area na posibleng pumasok sa Philippine Area of Responsibility in the next 24 hours,” said Clauren.
