MANILA, Philippines — The camp of presidential bet and former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has posted a video on YouTube detailing his accomplishments as a public servant.
The video shows Marcos being in public service for nearly 30 years: 12 years as Ilocos Norte governor; three years as Ilocos Norte vice governor; six years as congressman; and six years as senator.
According to the video, as governor, Marcos contributed much to the agricultural growth in Ilocos Norte.
He set up numerous storage facilities for crops, improved irrigation, provided capital, loans and fertilizers, and improved research and development, the video showed.
This led to bountiful harvests for the province, which became a top achiever in Region 1 for food security in 2000.
