MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out in a residential area in Purok Uno in Barangay Pineda, Pasig City on Tuesday.
Initial information from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) showed that the first alarm was raised at 1:10 p.m., and it was escalated to second alarm at 1:23 p.m.
The third alarm was later raised at 1:35 p.m.
The blaze was put under control at 3:18 p.m. and was extinguished at 3:30 p.m., according to BFP.
The BFP has yet to release further details about the fire as of posting time.
An evacuation site and relief goods are being prepared for affected residents, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto said in a tweet.
