MANILA, Philippines — While the country will experience fair weather on Tuesday, cloudy skies and chances of isolated rain showers may be expected due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms, the state weather bureau said.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due or thunderstorms due to easterlies, or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, and localized thunderstorms.

“Makakaranas po tayo ng maaliwalas na panahon di lamang sa dito sa Metro Manila kundi sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa. Nakakaapekto sa buong bansa ay easterlies,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said in a public weather forecast.

(We will experience fair weather not only in Metro Manila but in other parts of the country. Easterlies is currently prevailing in the country.)

“Sa buong bansa, ay inaasahan pa rin natin ang maganda at maaliwalas na panahon maliban sa mga isolated na pag-ulan kadalasan po yan sa hapon o gabi dulot po yan ng localized thunderstorms,” Aurelio added.

(In the entire country, we are expecting a fair weather condition aside from isolated rains in the afternoon at night due to the localized thunderstorms.)

Meanwhile, Pagasa has not raised any gale warning in any seaboards nationwide.
